Ista Ceramic Shelter - Bamboo

The Ista bamboo style shelter homes are ideal for breeding fish, and providing cover for fish such as plecos and catfish, along with shrimp.

We have these caves in both medium and large size.

Medium size: 75mm long, 55mm wide/tall. Hole opening size: 17mm

Large size: 105mm long, 105mm wide/tall. Hole opening size: 48mm.

These caves have the advantage of being made from a special porous ceramic material which promotes colonisation by filtering bacteria for improved water quality.

To make the caves look more natural, plants and mosses can be tied on to create a natural effect.
