Handheld TDS / Temperature Meter

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total weight of all solids that are dissolved in a given volume of water, expressed in PPM (Parts Per Million). Our handheld TDS meters come with a convenient carrying case, allowing you to keep the TDS meter safe.

Our TDS meters also have a convenient hold feature, allowing you to conveniently record the TDS of the sample water. The Auto-Off function turns the meter off after 10 minutes of non use to conserve the battery power.

This TDS meter also serves as a digital thermometer, allowing quick and easy water temperature readings to be taken.

By using a TDS meter, you will quickly be able to determine the quality of your Reverse Osmosis water, before adding it to your aquarium. A TDS meter is a vital piece of equipment if you are using a Reverse Osmosis unit with a deionisation chamber. If you are not using a TDS meter, you may be throwing away DI Resin which is perfectly serviceable. On the contrary, your DI Resin may be long exhausted, allowing contaminants to be leached back into the pure water.
