Apply the day and month sticker to the new cartridge to remind you to replace the filter after six months.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e3. Cut tubing using a sharp knife for plastic tubing. Cut tubing square, not on an angle (angle cuts can cause leaks). Alternatively, remove old filter by removing blue locking clips, and press collet down firmly to allow the pipe to be pulled out.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e4. Remove end caps from filter, and firmly insert tubing from feed supply observing the flow direction arrow.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e5. Lock tubing in place by pressing end cap down.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e6. Hold the filter over a bucket.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e7. Turn on water supply. Flush the filter for 3-4 gallons (approximately 5 minutes).\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e8. Turn off water supply. Connect pipe from appliance.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e9.
