Unit is supplied with all filters (5 Micron sediment, carbon block and GAC cartridge) and is also supplied with 2 x hozelock style quick fit connections for the inlet and outlet. This allows for quick and easy connection to a hosepipe. A housing spanner is also supplied to make changing the filter cartridges easy.
Filter Stage 1 - 5 Micron sediment filter (removes sediments including silt, rust, sand and any other sediments)
Filter Stage 2 - GAC filter cartridges (removes chlorine and helps remove heavy metals from the tap water. Also helps to balance the pH of the water)
Filter Stage 3 - Carbon Block Filter (reduces high levels of chlorine from the water)
This filter offers best performance with a flow rate of between 300 and 400 litres per hour. On average, it will filter around 10,000 to 12,000 litres of water. Please note these figures can vary and depend to a certain extent on the quality of the water in your area.
After fitting the unit or changing the filter cartridges, flush the filters for around 2 minutes, discarding this water. The unit will then be ready for use.
